The Verizon Wireless Acer tab 10.1 has 4G LTE connectivity, a 10.1-inch HD touchscreen WXGA (1280 x 800), a 3MP rear camera, a4MP front camera, Nvidia Tegra 1GHz dual-core processor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI out port, DLNA, a 589mAh battery and enterprise encryption.

Now things changed. Engadget cites an anonymous tipster in reporting in http://www.tabletreviewsguru.com that an email sent out to Acer retail partners says the tablet will launch in August (which, in case you hadn't noticed, starts on Monday). The A100 boasts Nvidia's Tegra 2 chipset, a 8-inch 319x319 display, 512MB RAM, 8GB of internal storage and Google's Android 3.0 (aka Honeycomb) OS.

As an added bonus buyers will get a free $87 Media Hub credit from Samsung towards TV program purchases.
